    Thanks for the replies,

    Talked with Patrick, a little bit ago, very helpful, with a couple questions I had about tying material. Only ordered Jig hooks for now. I'll have to learn more about tying before I order more tying material. I haven't tied in a couple of years. What I have tied is a very simple jig. Basically just a 1/32 shad dart head with Craft fur for a tail, with just tread at the neck to hold the fur on.

    This has been my experience. I buy my jigheads from Patrick and there may be one bad hook per 100 jig heads. They still well worth buying in my opinion.

    Craft fur with a thread neck makes a fine jig. Can't wait to see what you create!

    guess I'm the odd one out!! LOL I have old school Eagle claws j hooks and some little Nasties, Mustad old school and Matzuos. I haven't had a problem with any of them. With what I have poured and painted plus another 20,000 hooks I don't see myself buying any. Sorry if this doesn't help.
