The All Chartreuse is called “Crazy Caterpillar” and the Grey/black and chartreuse is called “Skunk Fart”

The first jig I tied I used a pair of vise grips clamped in a vise to hold the jig. I used a spool of sewing thread on a wood dowel and used my beard hair for the tail. I called it the "Old gray beard" and caught a lot of crappie and bluegills with it. Later I bought a couple of vises and a box of assorted materials and tools at a garage sale and played around with it some. Now I mainly tie 3/4 and 1 ounce jigs for jigging walleye on the Detroit River in the spring.
