So far so good. She was up waling around yesterday about 5 hrs after surgery just around the Hospital room with physical therapy there. knee pretty swollen through the night. They kept ice aced around it. Supposed to have physical therapy twice today, and then probably released home sometime late today. I think they said between 3 and 5 this afternoon. Sure gonna keep me busy for a while, for sure.
I want to thank everyone again for the prayers for her. I know she is very appreciative for them.

Yes, she was with physical therapy in the hospital room. I'll be headed back their shortly. She does not like their Farmers Brothers coffee...I don't either. so 2 thermos's of coffee and I'm headed that way...

I had both knees replaced 3 months apart in 2011. Tell her the rehab is the most important part of recovery. I didn't work as hard on the first knee and don't have as full range of motion as the other. Getting my old knees replaced was the best thing I could have done. I wish I would have done it a few years earlier.

Trust me when I say I stay after her. For over a month before surgery we were doing the exercises, as soon as she can drive the dr will schedule the replacement on my left knee. Only one of us can be down at a time. Fun, fun, fun....

After a long day at the Orthopedic Hospital today, I was able to bring Ms Joyce home. A very hectic evening, but made it through it, got about 2 hrs sleep, and am wide awake. Tomorrow is day three after surgery. Said to be the worst day, because all the pain numbing meds they give you in the operating room wears off. All I can say, going to be a fun( not really) day... Hope everyone has a Blessed day, and Thank You All for the Prayers.

I have a friend who had his second one done a few weeks back and is dealing with the rehab now. His comments about pushing his limits are the same as bandits. Kinda if you aren’t a little sore then you’re not doing enough. So glad to hear things are going according to plan. Praying for her comfort and progress in her rehab, and that you get a nap now and then. You’ve given us all good news Eric.
