    Default Small plastics

Some days they just want a tiny bait. I use the BG Itty Bitty Slab Slayers a lot but they usually last a fish or two and then they are trashed. I was hoping you guys might point me in the direction of some small, 1 inch or so baits that aren't trashed after a fish or two. I bought some from brush pile baits and plan on trying them out tomorrow. What else should I look at?

I've had good luck with the Little Minnow- 1.5" from crappiemanjigs.com. Crappieman Green is my go to color.

The micro baits really work for me this time of year. With the water so clean I can use hand-tied jigs for a change. This fall, so far, they seem to want a 1/16oz Micro jig instead of a 1/32oz. why? Maybe Ketchn can shed some light on the subject) when he quits playing with the Mayflies).

Trout magnets hold up well. They are pretty durable!

I like bass Assassin Panfish Assassins for many years.

But Crazy Nate's Crappie Baits have been killing them lately. For some reason, all the biggest stripers have been grabbing them, besides the crappie. I'm not sure what it is about those things, and I'm not even sure how the fish can find them, especially at night, but the catches are indisputable. We caught ALL of the fish on them the other night. They wouldn't touch bigger stuff. Crazy Nate is King!
