I had a grand time. The Maxwell's are always great influence's to hang with. Was such good fellowship. I did get to fish a while, but spending time with the "guys" is always more important to me. I am lucky to have attended quite a few C.c events and this is always a good one. Glad my good friend Jerry from Michigan was able to come by. I always enjoy hanging and bs'ing with him. Wish we were neighbors. Was super glad to hook up with my friend David. Thanks for the boat ride, looking forward to the next time, I will be a live scope expert by then. hahaha. David, you should be able to post again. Uncle JC and Jimmy, great seeing you. Kevin and Joey, love you guys. Thanks for the shrimp Jerry. So glad to visit with all the attendee's. Lake Charles area had a good showing of guys. Scott, Ken one of these days...

It was good seeing everyone again. Didn't expect to attend this year but a family emergency brought me down from Michigan. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter was recently diagnosed with a tumor near her brain stem and I'm down watching her 2 brothers while mom and dad are in Shreveport at the hospital. Her surgery went well and they're confident they got the entire tumor but now she's battling RSV. I appreciate all they prayers and kind words. Please keep them coming. Her mom was home to watch the baby so I decided her older brother needed a fun night with Pawpaw. He told me on the way up that he wanted to win a fishing rod so we can go fishing when I come down. He did just that, winning a nice 12' rod and a bunch of plastics, man was he excited. He's getting a new reel for Christmas. Danny, thanks for making him feel welcome, I think we have a future CDC member and dedicated crappie catcher. Thanks to the Maxwells for putting on a fantastic event and thanks to all that donated the prizes. Great food, great fun and great fellowship.

Glad he won the rod and is excited about fishing. Sorry to hear about your granddaughters tumor and now RSV. Glad surgery went well. Prayers sent for her health and recovery.
