    Default Found a Few

Lucked out and got on a few this past weekend. Caught several off brush piles before switching over to trolling and hooking a few more with crank baits.

Air temps here in East TN have been warm. Got back up in the 80s last two weeks. Cold front on it’s way now, though. Water temp was around 65 and most fish were about 4-6 feet deep first thing after sunrise. Got the casting fish using a 1/16 jig head with a brown/orange solid body tube from Arkie, and a small jig spinner attached. Also tried some pink/black tubes. The trollers were caught on Arkie 220 cranks in the Tennessee Shad and Firetiger colors. Water clarity was pretty good, as we’ve not had much rain this month.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

Mighty fine outing. I used to have a fully rigger pond boat I fished all over Ft. Bragg with. That lil boat caught lots of fish. Congratulations and thanks for sharing with us
