Thread: 1st Time Making Red Beans & Rice....

One store in 30 within 25 miles carries red beans, I won't use kidney beans. Conecuh smoked sausage, red on the label is mild, blue is warm. Kroger diced tomatoes with jalapeno peppers is better than Rotel. I made a pot Friday, 8 containers in the freezer should last us the winter. Just need to cook rice.
My wife wants to mix the beans and rice together, nope.

MAN CANE BREAKER THIS IS MY NEXT RECIPE TO MAKE THEM. I used Diced jalapeno's but didn't think about diced tomato's with jalapenos from Krogers. I LOVE THEM!!!!!! That's going to be a GAME CHANGER on next batch. Man I don't know how you knew how hard those Red Beans were to find. GUD LAWD!!!! 3 STORES!!!!!!! My next unmade dish is Chilli. I'm taking this Diced Tomatoes with Jalapenos & using that on BOTH DISHES.. Thanks..

bet you can get to 25 pretty fast on that diet bro ....just saying
me don't watch videos much but I would assume they were really tasty ....

Rojoguio in his bean recipe said add a bit of baking soda and it will help with that issue.
