    Way late response, but Matt used a jig, and Whitey followed up behind him with a minner on a slip bobber. Gave the fishes the double whammy, one two punch.

    Hey, great post about your experience at Whitey Outlaw Writers Camp! I am an amateur fisherman myself and I am currently looking for ways to improve my skills. I'm particularly interested in the two angler fishing technique you showed and I'm eager to try this with my fishing partner as well.

    I have side by side seating in my boat , before livescope the usual was each person fishing on his side of the boat, Since Livescope , we
    both fish on the same side so we both can see the screen. I try to position the boat so the main part of the brushpile is at a
    45 degree angle to the livescope transducer. We can pitch if that's what the fish want , or vertical if that works.
