Default Day didn't go as planned

StRted squirrel hunting missed a couple easy shots, lost one in brush and finally killed one. So said heck with it and did what I do best and hit the bank. Caught a few but slow so called buddy Charlie and said let's go to where I killed 5hem yesterday. Checked out dove field close to his home for my cabin partner and stopped at Charlie's and took a snooze till he got home and set up boat.

We t the 20 minutes to lake with high anticipation after a frustrating morning and KABOOM failed to happen. Going to same place where we started slow and NADA. SOover to where we HAVE killed them MULTIPLE times and NADA. At least he took me to local dive bar and we had nice dinner.

Then I went home and headed for my favorite bank and if not KABOOM at least a happy ending. Caught 7 nice ones and went home.

At least had nice sunset and moonrise again.Name: 20230831_193834.jpg

Pretty sunset. Sorry for lack of kaboom like you’d hoped for but you caught some fishes which is always a good thing.

Thanks for the share. Keeping the skunk at bay and had a good supper sounds like an awesome day.
