The interesting thing about the EZY Glide handle options is that they all use the same HP 250 helm pump with 2.8 rotation ...

If I don’t like the wheel - I can replace it with either of the other 2 handle options from EZY Guide (or build my own handle) ...

The hydraulic steer (vs my previous manual steer) for the new Suzuki is the main goal ...

Yes sir, what I'm wondering is in my mind the larger wheel might reduce the rotation? Scott

I think the rotation is still going to be the same 2.8 ... but it may not seem so in normal operation because of 2 points :

    1. The actual use of steering in normal on plane operation doesn’t use the full lock (port or starboard) ...
    2. Full lock (port or starboard) would only be used in no wake situations ... where more manipulation of the wheel is not as much of an inconvenience ...

The challenge is that my choice of handle/wheel orientation (on the front of the bench sit where I sit) is not conventional in any video, picture, or documentation that I can find ...

Most forward steer orientations have the handle/wheel at 0° from forward … most stick steer orientations have the handle/wheel at 90° from forward ... mine is facing directly 180° from forward ...

    I enjoy a challenge ...

Default Retirement present to myself ...

I forgot to mention that the reason I was not happy with the original steering wheel is that I do not want any part of the steering handle/wheel mechanism - sticking up past the level of the back deck .. for fear the person on the back deck may trip over the handle /wheel ... (my FIL at 82 fishes with me a lot) ...

Rickie .... If you're going to be sitting on the starboard side of the back deck and steering left handed, wouldn't you be straddling the fire extinguisher/mount ... as you currently have it placed ?? What was wrong with it's original position, under/next to the throttle ??

Correct pap ... I probably will be moving the fire extinguisher back to its original position ...
