    Default Finished Spoons

I used Gamakatsu single lure hooks in size 4 to tie the tails for my spoons. Total length of these are 2.5". Some flash, duck feathers and bunny hair was used in these. Wanting opinions on what you think would be better on the front end of the spoon, split ring or small crosslock swivel for the best action. Last picture taken under UV light. Name: IMG_4396.jpg

    Nice!
Looks to me like the split ring is the way to go.

Do you use these for crappie a lot?

Those are some good looking lures.
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

    Jim,
I'd try them with both in close where you can watch movement. Sometimes there is a noticeable difference with what is used. Those do look GOOD!
