    A lone stump , all covered on the top of it with a herd of crappie !
    Then imagine setting up about 10 foot or so away and pitching a jig into that herd.
    at that point the outcome seems reasonable to believe it would be a slam festival
    BUT imagine them fisheez not cooperating in the slightest ....
    I mean right down to just a peck or 2 and not a single fish gets hooked ....
    I am here to tell ya , it isnt just your imagination , it could easily happen !

    we left them and visited them 2 hours later and they were still in the NOT today mode ....
    bet there was 3 or 4 limits in that bunch pretty easily .....
