Thread: Prayers needed for husband and wife...

Prayers continued

So here is the update. First let me say thank you to all those who have kept my wife and I in your prayers. The extended family here at Crappie.Com are some of the kindest and thoughtful folks who despite not knowing someone personally are willing to ask our Father in Heaven to pour out his grace and mercy one one another.

My wife has had some issues with two masses in her abdominal area. While neither appear to be cancerous presently they are painful and will warrant keeping an eye on. The doctors took some biopsies in her stomach as well as other areas. We are awaiting the results from them and have some follow up appointments scheduled.


Myself…well I have been dealing with dizziness and extreme fatigue along with some bouts of confusion (remembering). I finally got in with a heart specialist and had several tests to try to diagnose the issue. While the cardiologist doesn’t believe my heart is the issue he ordered a stress these and echocardiogram. We are thankful he scheduled them as the tests revealed my pulmonic and mitral valves in my heart are failing. I will see the cardiologist again July 5th to see what our next steps will be.


The cardiologist has also referred me to neurology to see if they can determine/help diagnose my dizzy spells and fatigue.


While all this was going on I had more skin cancer removed from my back and the lab reported that the doctor got it all.


Every day we are reminded of God’s healing power in testimonies here and in our church. We are also reminded that there are folks who are in much more dire circumstances than us.

Thanks for the update John. I don’t like hearing of this, good folks are hard to find. As we age we all find something that must be dealt with. Thankfully, I’ve dealt with mine so far and truly believe that the prayers lifted for me have helped me along the way. Godspeed the doctors and their solutions and make them the smartest and best for your needs. I’ll be watching John, and my prayers will continue for both you and Mom.
