    Default Another Great Day!

Well folks I hit up Bald Knob Lake fishing pier again today. I was there for 1.5 hours and netted 40 shell cracker…..most 10-11 inches. Same setup as yesterday…TenRyu Lunakia 63…..Zenon reel…Varivas 3# test line, and today all Bison TM on Gekkabijin jig head #8 hook. It just don’t get much better than this! These are not bedding fish…continuous fan casting left to right….slow twitching keeping the TM in contact with the bottom. You can bet I’ll be back soon. Life is good and getting better!

I'm jealous, been awhile since I've gotten into a bunch of nice crackers. That lake sounds like a dream to me. Congrats on the great trip.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Any of us wouldn’t want to go home if we were catching crackers like that. Some good looking, healthy fish. You might need to start a little earlier so you and get some extra fishing time. It’s good to see somebody getting after em like that.

You are correct that I need to get out there earlier. I go at high noon knowing it’s going to be beyond hot with the thought the heat will make that pier less crowded. Through the week far less folks out there. I hate pulling up out there and that pier is loaded with people. Am hoping the boat I am looking to get is ready for production soon. That will take care of those problems.

    Regards
