    Default Just had to know

If they were still home with the weather change. Conditions were windy and overcast and high 60’s.family things done and nothing pressing to do I went back to the scene of yesterdays show. They were home but not like yesterday, and I’m glad I went. No oddball fish today and I got the first one on a rooster tail in fire tiger colors. Then the lightning rod came up with a black and chartreuse body, then back to the new rod. All things being equal it casts about 4’ less than the Nanofil on the lightning rod. Couldn’t be happier with it. And what’s a good day without a couple of crappie to top it off. Didn’t hurt my feelings. Thanks for the visit and I hope you get out soon.

Had to post this one for gillchaser. He so loves the tiny fish.

All totaled was a bit over a dozen gills with 9 real solid ones, a few redbreast and two crappie that could’ve come to dinner. Everyone went back for another day.

Awesome! Beautiful colors on all of them , but especially on the little warmouth !
BTW , I love them all , it just doesn’t bother me to catch little ones some days like it does some folks .
Just match the tackle with the fish and let the games begin!
