    Ever since seeing a VMC bullfly jig I've wanted to try to tie one. Well today is the day. Here's the first attempt, rough but not too terrible:

    The goose biot is not very long so a small head and hook are needed to make the tail look right.

    I tried one on an 1/8 oz head with a number two hook but had to use a lot of quill to get the right length with the biot.

    Switch from hackle feather to Palmer Chenille on this next two.

    The third one is back on a 32nd head with a number 4 hook.
