I watched the link SuperDave posted on another thread. The biologist said on lakes with a high volume of water moved mainly dam power producing lakes there is no stratification or thermocline. The fish can be at all depths. The Catawba chain has had so much rain they have had to move more water than normal to make room for the next rain. I’m having trouble locating fish. The fish I caught were scattered throughout the water column. Caught some 6 feet some 12-14 and a few at 20.
Wondering if the water temp is close to the same at 6-20 feet?? That would definitely scatter the fish.
