Really surprised to find em very shallow and biting like wildfire!
Bleached out ,pale and pulling like mini trains .
45 outside, north wind 10 to 15 , in really muddy water 2 foot deep !
Water temperature, fish and MY hands around 32 ....
Started out after crappie, they were slow with bass in the mix .
Broke out 2 nightcrawlers and my luck changed swiftly.
By the time I realized who needed to be targeted it was too cold out there for me.
Managed 16 before I said enough...
Sure was cool to rip em so shallow this time of year
Especially as a norther was blowing in so quickly...
Go figure
P.S. very consistent size range, no teeny ones , no monsters, just nice eaters , let em all go ...KABOOM
