Sorry for your loss. I've also always kept cats around, always will. There's one sitting beside me as I type this on my laptop. I carry cat treats with me on vacation for the ones I meet in other parts of the world.
It sucks to lose a feline friend, or any long time pet, but there's a lot more cats out there that need a good home. Good for you for giving Camo a good life.

We have a cat that came to us 15 years ago at 3 weeks old.A throwaway that some lowlife dumped in a ditch next to my house. She has took over the household and rules everything.I hate to hear about your loss.I know how you feel.

Sorry for your loss, that's a great tribute to him.
It reminds me of a friend who had a big old cat he called Meathead. That thing followed him like a puppy and especially loved time in the workshop. Meathead lived to be 20 years old.

As Vicki and I went thru pics of Camo with our grandkids and dogs, I told her something that had really been a concern.
After having 6 joint replacements recently and having lost a bunch of client work when I lost freezers after the tornado, I’ve been looking toward the bottom of my freezers. Wrapping up all my obligations means I will soon be closing the business and selling my building. Camo was a big concern because that 40x56 foot building is the only home he had known since 5 weeks old. He took that worry off of me today.

Sorry to hear of your loss, Mr Dux. Our fur babies, cat or dog, are like our real children, and the loss can be hard. Sounds like Camo had a great life.

I was one who delighted in wrestling with Camo. I remember once when we got a little bit too rough he jumped up and sunk a tooth in my right arm between my wrist and elbow. Being on two different blood thinners, I bled rather profusely. I explained to Doug that I had brought it on myself and was totally to blame. It did not prevent me from trying to annoy him after that. I will miss that cat as much as if he were my own.

Blessings. Cats are great. Almost as good as mans best friend. They are entertaining for sure.
