    Default New (to me) rods


    I just discovered a site that sells crappie rods that are designed by pro fishermen and pro guides. They have style specific models and lengths. I believe they are made of a kevlar or carbon mixed with fiberglass. Not positive though. I ordered a 8ft medium pulling model. It can be used with a spinning or baitcast reel.

    If you use one please tell me how you like it!

    I use a 5' 6" Pro Angler rod for dock ahooting and love it. I also use two 16' trolling rods from Pro Angler. They are way better than my 16' B&M PST's. More sensitive tip with more backbone.

    I have and love the 8’ ProAngler rod. If I’m not mistaken DrNip uses a bunch of them.

    I bought a 8' Pro Angler and a 8' ACC 4 years ago to see which one I liked better. I went with the ACC because I felt it had more backbone and fit my style of fishing. The Pro Angler is a great rod that I still use for casting jigs

    Proangler is local guy to me and I have done business with them for years. I do not own a Pro Angler rod but I have heard nothing but good things about them. They are really big with catfisherman here because of the rod holders the sale. I think you will like the rod.

    Ive got some 10fters that I used night stalking. Theyre probably 12-13yrs old. Some of them are a little crooked, ever so slightly, but they're tough as nails. I've caught 1000s on them when I night stalked a lot.

    For their longer rods using 14’ for vertical jig presentations as they are lighter weight than most other rods this size with cork handle sensitivity.
