Tried those and couldn't get the line to come of the reel when casting. Use a 1-2' leader of fluoro and then braid for mainline. Regular string bobber stops hold great on my 10 lb test braid.

Make your own bobber stops with unwaxed dental floss or braid of your choice tied to the main line with a uni knot (6-8 wraps) ...
I like Power Pro super slick (because I already have that braid on my catfish rods so I have plenty) ...
