You have that mylar looking great

The Mylar does not like to slip over top of my under spin swivel thingie. So I wet the Mare-A-Boo and inserted it inside and then slipped the Mylar over the hook bend and on.
You can see how compessive the Mare-A-Boo is. It forms a string like tail. Much more so than hair.
Well I am up for opinions. Any ideas ?

I believe you are doing fine with your ties. Nothing beats catching fish on your own ties.
Micanopy thanked you for this post
Realized my tail was too long, then too short, then just right. Maybe.
Still researching feathers. Made a mistake in one of my previous additions to this thread. The original Coq de Leon was not in France. Rather he was in Leon, Spain. Of course he was right, but that isn’t what I am focussed on. Examining ‘streamers’. I think they would be good designs to mimic because they are for fast moving rivers, and I troll, so they interest me. A jig with a streamer pattern.
Jig on far left looks very nice to me.

They look awesome. They should look alive in the water

Jack, the jigs look one way dry and another when wet. I am now trying to tie based on what it will look like when wet.
Can’t see it in the photo, but this one has lavender eyes that twinkle.
