    I'm planning on heading over on Friday to do a little crappie fishing and see it might become quite gusty. Anyone have any tips on areas of the lake protected from the SSW wind?

    Good luck getting out of the wind. I just got back from there. Monday & Tuesday the wind was terrible. We had a north/northwest wind & could not find a place to get out of it. Unless you call staying in the cabin getting out of it. Lol ! Turned off cold & fish shut down for us. Good luck to you hope you have better weather it's supposed to warm back up.
