Go to Walmart and buy this:
Robot or human?
Cut a hole to suit in the top of your cooler and use RTV to seal the top to the cooler. Use the rest of the can as a regular trash can.

Is your live well not actually a part of a deck? Both of my live wells have weight bearing lids. A swinging lid would be disastrous
I've bought hatch covers off from ebay for a couple of boats I've redone. They come mounted on a frame, you just cut a hole the right size and screw in place. this is what they look like once mounted![]()
