Default After slow summer biting again

At my other home lake where we have condo been really slow summer. Hit spawn really well at smaller lake there but big lake was dink haven and caught tons and then threw them back. Usually around my pontoon will ketch nice ones and get motivated to get out after them but this year just a few dinks or sunfish.

Had reports some decent sized crappie were being caught and buddy who likes to fish but doesn't keep many brought a basket of nice eaters to me. Said were hanging around flats and were gorging on shad. So I cleaned them and distributed to my friends. I end up middle man in supplying crappie and cats to some nice friends who love eating them there. Sure enough were full of shad and fat. Often fish out of here are on skinny side.

Love getting calls next day talking about the wonderful dinner they had w the FRESH FILETS. course I remind them to go couple doors down and thank guy who did ketchn.

Motivates me to get out tomorrow and do some ketchn.Attachment 438161Name: 20221002_154545.jpg

Good job. Get out there and see if you can find those nice ones.

all this beautiful weather and having to do Papa daycare is keeping me from wetting a line. But dang these kids are so cute. then if it's not that the wifey needs me to drive her to see a doctor.

    Oh well, family takes priority.

Buddy, love those kids and drive her to the moon if she wants to go. Lost my wife in 2000. Pretty hard to replace, mostly cause you won't want to. Fish on when the time comes.
