    Default Bimini Top

I need one. Who has the best bang for the buck. I fish an 18x56 Alweld with a 45 degree t track if that helps. I'd sure rather use that to mount it

So I make tops and your track hardware should have the angle built in for top to mount correctly into. I just returned my boat to Ross Barnett so I can't show a picture but I bend the frames for bass boats so there is no crown. This allows for a lower and tighter stowage out of the way. Also I make all the canvas from Stamoid Lite, a fully waterproof fabric that is 5oz or so in weight. It boots up in less than half the diameter of Sunbrella. This is not a direct answer to your question I know, but putting forward the idea before you spent for a generic top as a option. Any custom top maker can do this.

I found a picture in my text outbox to someone else showing how my Bass Boat Bimini Top frames are bent. This frame does 2 things, first with Stamoid Lite fabric it rolls up much tighter than Sunbrella type Acrylic woven fabric. Secondly look how tight it stows to the engine, all hatches are clear to open, I can even still gas it up without moving it. When I make it back to Ross Barnett I will take a picture of the top up and me sitting in the front platform seat. The top is positioned so sitting, jigging, my floppy hat brim rests on the forward bow of the frame. If any wind is blowing you get a cool breeze on your body to help increase the summer comfort. The center bow is slightly higher than the two outside bows causing rain to run off the front or back. It even gives a little more headroom to move around under. The longitudinal length of this top is 7ft.

TheBear, please post the width of the gunnels at the mounting point. I'm going to check the warehouses for y'all and see if something can be figured out. I will be going to the Rez frequently this fall so I can hand carry you a Carver Top, I don't make them except for myself anymore. That's why I'm using the material to make long net handles, lots of 7/8in aluminum tubing in the shop.
