    I thought that live would only work on 45 or 52 inch shafts?

    It works fine unless I’m in really rough water. Won’t be using it then anyway.

    I think they are concerned about the weight. It is heavy on a 60 inch shaft.

    Humminbird is marketing it for the green carp guys who use short shaft motors.

    The TargetLock shaft maximum length below the mounting bracket is 32” ...

    The advertised 45-52” is based on an idea that a boat using a 60” TM shaft probably drafts so far out of the water that the 32” TargetLock shaft length would be out of the water ...

    I see no reason that the TargetLock shaft couldn’t be modified for any draft boat ... (accepting warranty being voided tho) ...
