Default Some soft plastic lure companie are not honest!

I bought lures directly from a company in June - got them yesterday divided between 2 boxes. I ordered over $50 worth to avoid s/h.
    1. four bags had duplicates of the ones I ordered and was charged for them because:
    2. Since the order was split - less than the $50 min. - I was charge twice for shipping: $10.50 x 2
    3. the lures were too small for the size advertised and some were defective (mishapen)
    4. the company insisted they did nothing wrong - not even the long delay in shipping - and would charge a restocking fee and new shipping fee to swap lures for the correct size.
    5. there was no invoice in either box the lures were sent in
    6. the packages had no information printed on the outside as far color and quantity (I had to count them)

I noticed that they sell these grubs on Amazon and I left bad reviews for each of their 3" grubs/100 per pack which are overpriced - especially since s/h is included in the inflated price and therefore not free.

Too bad I can't mention the company but would tell anyone it if they pm'd me. Buyer beware!

Man those bait companies really are doing bad business, if I owned the company, I would try to take care of my customers.

That is a shame. Not a good way to maintain ones share of such a competitive market

I make my own soft plastics and rather than make one curl tail at a time, I'm buying a mold that makes 8 at a time with injection. But thanks for the link. Good thing this was a one time thing. No company has ever done this to me and denied responsibility.
Should have known that 100 3" curl tail grubs at $7.99/ free s/h for orders over $55, was too good to be true. $10.50 s/h for one pack was bad enough! On Amazon its $15.65 for one packet of soft plastics that includes getting the lures some time in August.

I just sent a friend 20 lures I made and it cost me $.60! and he got them living in a different state within 5 days. I doubt sending him 100 lures would have been much more, i.e. $1.20/ First-Class Mail Flat/Large Envelope (1 oz.)

If you buy plastics below what the market will bear or see them at a price that is ridiculous cheap , it pays to be cautious.
Clearance rack name brands are ok sometimes , but online is a crap shoot for sure .
If I can’t handle the bag of baits first or test them first I ain’t likely in on it , been there done that before routine.
Same with rods ,if I can’t hold it and play with it ,I ain’t buying it ....just saying
So many plastics are junk it ain’t even funny and the curly tail list of junk is really really long , at least half of what I have encountered won’t even begin to”swim” in the water under 25 mph and only with a catfish weight in front of it !
This rings true with lots of tackle said to be all that when it ain’t about worth the time to give it away !
Curly tailed baits need a thin area in the transition to the tail curl to be really good and soft as well , hard thick tailed curly tail plastics are trash baits ....
Sorry you got duped bro ....
    All done , carry on

Wouldn't you have know this before you paid?

I assume you didn't buy thru Amazon because they will refund anything.

I'm guessing you paid with a credit card so dispute the transaction, pretty easy.

Bad Yelp Review to me usually means grumpy old men!

Sorry you had a bad experience.
