The 2 acre pond that I fish has changed. You could go out for 2 or 3 hours and catch 15 or 20 bass around 1 to 1.5 pound. They are scarce this year. Just last week I saw 2 mink running throught the cattails. Could they be the reason for the change?

They may have caused the fish to change their habits. Also the fish may be pressured by them being around

minks are very similar to mini otters , they are fast and swim well , might be cleaning up the pond for ya for sure![]()

I seriously doubt a couple of two-three pound mink are cleaning out a pond. Especially since the male will be wondering all over.
