Learn about what thermocline is first,,,google it Or ask somebody who knows exactly what your asking,,,then look for it and identify it on your fish finder and see exactly where those fish are,,,,they are a sneaky sneaky fish this time of year,,,I suggest using heavier jigs too when fishing deep waters, helps feel and see that bite better,,,,,

Barnacle Bill what color jig would you suggest, and could I use colored line to see the bites better, the ay we been fishing is we find our tops and set our minnows over the tops and tickle them, straight over them, our top tops usually are about 10-12 feet under, at about 25-30 feet of water. Do you think we are scaring them fishing right over them?

Danny Lang, if you see a Black n Red Lund on the water this weekend, stop by and get a cold water. We’re camping at Crooked Creek till Sunday and hope to find something that bites. And with the hot temps, why are you not targeting all the dock lites on Sinclair? Tightlines to ya sir and see ya on the water.

B&B fish bridges and brush piles, look for the fish.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Well everyone has their favorite jig. Mine is Bobby Garland Baby Shad with Blue Ice coloring. You can't go wrong with the Baby Shad series. For line I use Suffix Hi Vis Yellow. And no you are not scaring them. Just learn to watch that line. If it twitches, SET THE HOOK.
