Default Cools off and gets hot

Two days of high heat and humidity. Today was cooler and calm. Got a chance to fish with a new friend and we were ketch'n em. Lots of small gills, sunfish, bass, and a 16" pike (we kept the pike). Caught a bunch on my polar bear panfish bug. Then moved off a drop off and started casting a 1/32 jig with a glacier BGBS. Non stop action for 90 minutes. What fun. We don't have a size limit here so kept 12 between 8.5" and 11.5" Here's the best one.

On big pike I'll get 5 boneless cuts. This small one I got 3. Really firm and tasty. We had a great meal last night. Ketch'n and eat'n, KABOOM!

pike and pickerel are some of the bestest eating out there , being in the walleye family of fish is a bad thing if you are a fish for sure

I should mention I was on a special regulations lake that has a 5 pike limit with only 1 above 24".
