i have a power drive with auto pilot . it some time start turning on its own . is there a setting on it in the head control. also what fish finder is used on the built in trans ducer . wwaf0097771

I am thinnking of installing Minn Kota Terrova a 80 US2 45" Shaft Length 80 lbs Thrust 24V Trolling Motor with i-Pilot Link & Bluetooth is this model i need to do spot lock, etc. are they hard to use/understand on the remote?? thanks much feeling lost here

The Terrova I-Pilot will do spotlock. To me the remote is easy to use. If I am fishing often I can run it without looking at the buttons. You can also run it from a smartphone or tablet with the app through Bluetooth. The remote is easy enough to use I can chase down catfish jugs in the dark.

The I Pilot link will link with Hummingbird depthfinders to control the motor as well. Standard I Pilot will not. Standard I pilot will do spotlock

How do I delete tracks I recorded on I pilot link remote? And is it possible to record a track with my trolling motor stowed?

In case you are wondering if the new Advanced GPS Minn Kota trolling motors (Quest/non-Quest 2023+) will work with the older fishfinders, such as 8xx, 9xx, 11xx-series, I have confirmed that my 1199s with the last iPilot Link update from 2016 sees Advanced GPS on the Ultrex that I installed on my boat this weekend. I do see the iPilot Link menus, although I haven’t tested out what Advanced GPS-specific features work and don’t work yet. I also haven’t figured out what One Boat Network programmable keys can do with the older fishfinders, although this setup is doing better than I expected.
