Had a hankering to go back to Larto when the wind wasn’t howling. Made it to Uncle Bud’s mid morning. Got shiners and some worms for insurance. Fished across from Bud’s and caught one. Went to the island and fished around cypress trees in about 4 feet of water. Had a bass (I presume) break me off. Caught a couple small crappie and missed a few. Decided to slow down. Bingo!! They wanted that shiner to sit still!! Caught about 20 mostly small ones with 3 or 4 decent ones. Kept enough to make fish tacos.
Cleaned the fish and just barely got wet when the storm hit.
The man who works for “Uncle Bud” helped me load the boat!
I really like Larto!! It is a blessing to live near it!

I love Larto also but I only get to go about once a year there. Looks like you got a decent mess. Thanks for sharing.
