    Default Yeller

A good day fishing with about 20 crappie in the 11 to 12-in range. Most were caught on Gray Ghost with a work vest. He's getting a little ragged but still catching. Red and white did pretty well and caught a few on Pink plastic. But they seemed to like hair better.

After a shower, siesta, and supper, I got around to tie in a few jigs.

Used triangular heads for two of them in 1/8 and 3/16. The other is a minnow head in 1/8. Black GSP thread collars, faux bucktail with gold flash. Added licorice whip chenille to the minute head.

Went wild and made a fourth with chartreuse bucktail over pink polar chenille. Name: PXL_20220428_230846563.jpg

Those look great. Glad to hear the gray ghost and red/white ties were getting it done

They look good. Especially like the chartreuse and pink one.

That one did well until it got wedged under a rock and broke off. Caught 10-12 fish on it first though.

Good thing I have the picture, might want another like it.

    Thanks Jack.

The gray ghost with orange collars has had a real workout over the last 3 days and was still catching when cut off.
