The fishing isn’t going well for us here. 8 keeper crappies in three days. Catfish and bass bite is good tho. And I caught a 16 1/2 pound buffalo carp on 4# test.

Naw. I threw it back. Someone else can enjoy gettin their arm pulled out the socket with him.
Toughest time I’ve ever had here. Wind is just unrelenting. None of my spots from previous years are producing much if anything. We got two nice keepers today. A crappie and a red ear and that was it. Called it a day at 11am and talked to some friends the rest of the afternoon.

Seems like we have had our share of weather this year. But hey it's KY if you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes. Hate that you had to fight the wind but at least it is warm.

They don’t do breakfast there any more. We stopped in for lunch and had burgers and fries. Couldn’t get a hot breakfast here until Thursday morning at Kenlake Marina. Good food and great servers. Stopped again Sunday for lunch. Quite a bit has changed in these last three years here. Still a nice time. Headed home.Hope you have a safe trip!
