Default Lots of UNWANTED excitement here Early this AM

We got awoken at about 1:30 this morning by gunfire. Seems someone visiting next door, (mind you this is in a mobile home park), was in some way affiliated with some gang, and a rival gang came by...an argument ensued, then gunfire. one shot and left in an ambulance, rest scattered. Police showed up and nobody has gotten any sleep due to the investigation that has ensued.

Police and investigators just left a short bit ago. Thankfully, we, the wife our fur babies, and I are alright, other than very tired. Fortunately, the neighbor across from us caught the whole thing on her video surveillance camera. So, no matter what the neighbor said, they, the Police seen what had transpired. Had planned on going fishing this morning. Guess the Lord didn't want me to go...Great big hint, you ain't goin'...Sorry, but I had to put that in there...

Glad you and family are all well. So many times there are collateral victims who are not part of the drama some people live. Since you were not injured God must have a better fishing day planned for you..

Oh wow, glad you and your family are ok. Scary situation for sure. With gang gunfire those bullets could be flying everywhere. Stay safe.

Gosh Eric, I’m so sorry you and your wife have to live like that in your neighborhood. Hopefully the park owner will take some action. Glad you guys were ok.

Well Bob, their lies the problem. When we moved here it was relatively quite, mostly adult neighborhood. However this park for what ever reason has changed hands several times. It is now owned by an outfit, I believe to be out of California. They have a joke of a park manager, that literally does nothing to curb the problems in the park, and goes so far as to say, if you have a problem with a neighbor, it's your responsibility to call the Police, leave me out of it. Unfortunately the owners say, and I quote, "We refuse to put our manager in harms way"...Needless to say, I am looking for a place to go to get out of here...
We thought we had one till the Loan agent kept changing with in the company. Every time it changed,, they were asking for the same paperwork, over and over. The house we were looking at sold...

Perhaps the place you were looking to buy wasn't right for y'all. Something better is waiting for y'all somewhere
