    Default 4-20-22 Lake Wylie

Met up with Uncle Remus this morning at Ebinezier landing around 7:30. Put the toon in the water and a gentle man from the DNR did a safety check on the toon. Then we got underway. Marked a big school of fish in about 25' of water. We started off hot then the wind started blowing harder. We couldn't stay on the school. We moved around some looking for a place out of the wind. Found a few places where the wind wasn't so bad. And picked at them until around 1:45. The water temperature was 65 today and the water was stained or normal for Wylie. We caught 29 fish today tightening minnows. 2 perch, 3 blue cats, and 12 crappie headed home with Uncle Remus. Thank you for another great day on the water!Name: 20220420_142722.jpg

No, I have been out there with him, and it's been cold too! Just his luck that the wind blows, I guess.

When fishing with Uncle Remus it's best to stay up wind from him.
