Ive been a few times lately, but been busy with a shutdown at work that started April 2nd. Ill be glad when this is over, this working 14-16 hrs everyday is getting old quick... Ill try to do some catching and picture taking after this is over. Im normally ok with the catching part, I just never take pictures. You know what they say, "if you dont have pictures, it didnt happen" so I dont post much lol

Most of us are Not afraid of anyone catching a fish on here , in fact are happy when a great catch is posted for them, sort of get the feel that if i cant be catching them glad someone got the time to hit em!! That said most of us land bound guys are pretty tight about the few go to locations you have found over the years. Thats why its such a great place for learning areas that do hold fish in general. Learned a long time ago show and tell will get you a community hole in a hurry fishing from the bank ! You better make sure your buddy isnt kiss and tell when it comes to a honey location on the bank!!Nice to share a spot up to a point , then some one gets specific with the location and then you get someone that will drop in on you and cast in front of you ,even over your back and even put a hook in a wader . If some one has beaten us to our intended place we always honor their getting there first and dont horn in on them, just remember to get up earlier next time! We then go to bank place number 2 or 3 or change over to fishing new places . I was taught by my dad to always honor anyones fishing spot be it in a boat or on land/bank. It seems to have become a lost art or rule. Those of us that fish from the bank dont have the luxury of a yak fisherman like DB as hes able to move around in all his skinny water, although it would be a waste of time to come behind him as hes vacuumed the area anyway of all fish (grin) those of us that hang from the bank are fishing certain areas we know the fish sooner or later will show up to feed .Nothing more disappointing when you get to a place and theres 3 ,4 or more cars with their buddies choking out the spot,.SOme places like 69 bridge it is expected to be a free for all when the fish show up in the fall for everyone to gather around HA but theres usually plenty fish all along the bank . Most i saw this past fall /winter was 11 on the pump house tide and 6 more on the Guntersville side. In years past i have seen as many as 23 cars there
