    Too rich for my blood.
so it was likely made in china for maybe 20 bucks or less , then shipped here 10 bucks , then there was import taxes and longshore fees and then transport to the main body of the country . so it cost them around 40 or so and they are selling it for close to 200 , this is the american way you know ......

I'd look at the B-n-M Diamond series too. It's about 1/2 the price. The HH Typhoon 12' with cork Tennessee handle would be nice too. You can locate your reel wherever it needs to be for balance.

This and the new 15' War pig is one of the best Crappie rods on the market. It has the backbone to flip 2lb Crappie, not that you should. It is a very high content of carbon fiber, this rod floats. The design that went into this rod is
best materials and was tested for a very long time. I have Crappie fished and have every Crappie rod on the market, THIS IS THE ONE. I do not pro staff for H&H, I buy my rods. B&M is a great company but they do not have a rod
of this quality. I have broke rod ends backing into trees and they have replaced my equipment, NO QUESTIONS ASK. They Howards are a great family and I am happy to give them my money for such a great product.

It was replaced by a 3 piece rod called a ''Trident'' I think the 2 piece rods were harder to store or ship. Both 13' used to be my favorites . My favorite is now the 11.5' stryker''. It is super light but still swing slabs. I found the lighter rod easy on my neuropathy and that extra 18'' of rod not needed for me. I bet there is not many my age that has spent more hours holding a jig pole.
