Wylie - 4-6-22 Report
Fished from 8:00 to 4:00 mostly on Torrence and Crowders creeks fishing minnows on the banks. The heavy rain on Tuesday brought the lake up over a foot overnight. Creeks looked like chocolate milk. Fish were much tougher to find versus last Monday as the rain drove them off the banks. Caught 7 crappie , mostly 8-10 inch males. I caught one bluegill , had a channel cat and a large bass break off my 6 lb test line (love it for crappie, not so much on bigger fish).
With the high winds coming in , I probably will be off the lake until Sunday or Monday. Hopefully, the fish should begin to hit the banks then.

Sounds like some hard fishing. When the lake gets that muddy and trashy I begin looking for places not so muddy if I wanna catch anything. Sometimes that aint possible. You toughed it out and still brought home a mess of fish. Congrats.
