Thread: Wylie 4-4-22 & 4-5-22

Fished both morning but with a big difference.

4-4-22
Fished beaverdam & did pretty good. We got about 17 nice crappies & a couple of perch. Probally threw back 12 more small crappies. We were longlining. Again, jigs tipped with minnows. Caught most of the fish in 20 to 25'.



4-5-22

Today the fish won. Fished back end of Big a but did not have much luck. Even trolled back into a couple of big coves. Did not mark or catch much of anything. On well that fishing. Just wait for the next trip.

They do call it fishing and not catching. Nice mess of fish

You are reading my mind. We got 2.3" of rain just this afternoon & more to come tomorrow night.

I think, it's about time to try wateree cats up in the river towards cedar creek. May even get a striper as bonus.
