    Default Lesson learned

Went out yesterday in hopes of finding some crappie up shallow even had a friend join me on the adventure. After reading the latest crappie now magazine and of course some great post on here I believe yesterday would have been met with a little more success if only we had changed strategy from pitching shallow structure and shooting docks to hunting the deeper channel or points. Still managed to miss the skunk and as always was a great way to spend the day. Looking forward to redemption lol and another good trip! Name: IMG_1280.jpg

Some nice catches and pictures, and a very peaceful way to fish.

I am bad about fishing where I want the fish to be instead of fishing for them where they want to be

Yes learning each time just because it looks good doesn’t mean it will be and have to be willing to change the game plan

Had a friend once tell me while we are fishing, "If I were a crappie I'd be right here." I answered, "if you were a crappie, you'd be in someone's frying pan."

If I was a crappie I would be caught on a spoon. A spoon full of peanut butter
