Thread: Weiss Lake

Sure don't hear many reports on this lake anymore. Is the fishing down on this lake ? I haven't been down there in prolly 5 years. Was thinking about maybe a trip down there in the fall.

My neighbor went down 2 weeks ago.
Felt sorry for him because he didn’t catch even 1 fish of any species.
Said his daughter caught 3 catfish and 3 crappie for the entire week they were there.
Not sure how many hours they spent on the water but the weather was bad and windy.
He is a fair weather fisherman and I think he only launched his boat on 2 days all week.
Fished off the dock at the rental house I would guess.
Sorry I couldn’t give a better report.
