one of several crappie yesterday at a different spot in town was a really attractive "Arkansas black nose" coloration version of a black crappie ....aka MOHAWK

they really are beautiful fish , always seem to thump it hard and fight twice as hard as well .
cant beat a hard bite and good fight and beauty like that for sure ....
KABOOM is the word yawl

btw , looking for a dozen or so EXACTLY like this jig .
known here locally as "ketchnz karrot" ,this version is a 1/32 oz. ball head , number 6 sickle hook .
