Another day on the home lake and it was WINDYYYY.
Anybody who fishes the Ville would tell you how the wind swirls and seems to come at you from all directions at times. Caught 5 keepers in a couple of hours, and a smattering of dinks. Fish are staged up and the Pre Spawn feeding frenzy is on. I’d say whatever tactics work for you will probably work here right now. Pulling pushing scoping and even casting to the shore is producing, but beware…big cold front approaching. Y’all be safe out there.

    Good job!
I love taylorsville but I’ve been try’s few other spots before the big spawn happens and everyone shows up and you have to try and parallel park your boat on the bank. It’s amazing how many crappie are in Tville.

The wind there definitely whirls around. I swear I have seen it blowing hard one direction and move 50 yds and it be blowing the exact opposite. Nice catch!

You're preachin' to the choir, buddy

I've been on T-ville when there wasn't much wind (when I got there), but as soon as I start fishing ... it starts trying to blow me right up against the bank. I look on the opposite bank & it's calm, so I go over there ... and it's blowing just as hard over there as soon as I get there. And ever since I got Livescope, it seems to be against me even more.

Lol. I think the only way to stop the wind sometimes is to buy a sailboat!
