Not familiar with that style fastener but I did do a Google search just to see what they look like. Depending on the material that you're going to be putting them through it may be beneficial to at least put a fender washer on it.. may help to prevent them from possibly pulling through

I mounted my swivel to a 18' by 12" 1/2" piece of plywood. Then I used construction adhesive to glue it to the bench top. It was solid and even my 225# butt did not move it.
