    Default Water temps?

What are the water temps in y'all's part of Louisiana or other states?
58 deg last Thursday on a couple of our lakes in Central La. and back to 52 deg this past Saturday.

Got up to low 60s with last warmup but down to the mid 50s last time I went. This week should get back in the 60s. SW LA area.

How long do y’all think this little cool snap from Saturday night will shut them down before turning back on? Beating the banks looking for the spawners, btw!!

56-59 at Louie today. Didn’t get a bite, but had a good time learning my new Echomap. Put it on the trolling motor. Side Vu works really well trolling!! Found lots of new structure on some of my old spots. May take a while to get used to the new menu structure. Thank goodness for 4 presets. Going to try to mark waypoints where I catch fish with the month so I can search for that month and see where I caught them the years before. Pretty optimistic for an old guy!

Temp hit 61.5 on Lake St John yesterday afternoon. Not many but all were good fish, the longest was 14.5 inches. Two males and 5 females. Two females had half of the eggs in them as the others did. I caught those two in little cypress limb tops in 2.5 ft of water. The rest were around cypress knees in 3.5 to 4 ft.Name: IMG_20220317_212647854.jpg

Wednesday on Louie the water temperature varied from 69 to 74. Only caught two. One was 2 feet from shore, the other was 8 feet from shore under a mat of floating sticks and bark. Started late. Very windy also muddy water
