    This has been my go to for the last year. Blakemoore under spin. With bass assassin 2in curly tail.

    I got a bud that loves them big heavy Wally road runner versions with the big umbrella looking plastic on them. "crappie thunder" is the name maybe?
    might not ketch as many as me when we go , but to be sure his fish often run larger .
    hard to beat chart though in the split tail I use in the 1.75 inch in bright chart and the pearl version too.
    here is one of the chart versions on a black head 1/8 th, I tied on my braid rod the other day ....
    and a different one on a lighter rod on an unpainted head 1/16 th in a crappie fisheez lip ....
    good stuff for sure .....KABOOM is the word
