    Default Texas Creek fishing

Crappie were picky today and staged in the deepest holes of said creek. They smashed road runners with curly tails. They didn't want anything else. Slip float with Bobby garlands only caught bass today.

I caught the first one minutes after arriving, then spent a few hours trying to master slip floats and only caught bass and one sunfish. Went back to what worked at first and caught them every cast.

I use to spend alot of time in Hempstead back in the mid 80's. Is it still considered the watermelon capital of the world. Nice catches on those crappies.

I think it lost that title. Every where you look now there is new subdivisions. Waller County is being absorbed into the "greater Houston" area at an alarming rate Texas Creek fishing

What is up with that?!? Montgomery County is the same way. I can't believe how fast it is happening.

After hurricane Harvey it seems everyone wanted to move out of Houston. All it did was make Houston bigger. The 99 loop is goes through 7 counties and is going to be 180 miles around..

Everything in Texas is turning into real poor attitudes and housing, would be nice if we could go back to the days when we all waved at each other as we passed by on the road with a smile out in the country that was still within the city limits .
Alarming rates is an understatement , it wont be long before the transplants ruin our state with the same bad manners and bad attitudes that ruined their home states and caused them to seek new places to destroy.
whoops , opened the egg and out spilled the yoke , rant over ....
nice ketchn , congrats , enjoy while you can , some day soon it won't be a spot you get to visit is likely in the near future ....
