    Default First livescope crappie.

Friend had a portable livescope at the crappie dock. Cold windy day, 41 degree water temp. It was a learning experience about crappie. Tried 3 inch and 2 inch jigs, they completely ignored those. Switched to the 1 1/4 inch vertical jigging they still ignored. Started throwing past them letting it swing over them they started rising and following it but would back off. Added a gel scent they started biting finally. Caught 9 in 3 hours. Name: IMG_1552.jpg

Persistence pays off most of the time. Give then what they want and they will bite.

It pays to be persistent, when chasing crappie, in my humble opinion.
